Based on the requirements, a fixed price project
was executed at Wipro's offshore development center.
The application for the Election Information System
encompasses the activities of managing, conducting
municipal elections and finally displaying the
election results on the TV monitors at the City
Hall. This application enabled the customer to
manage the voter's list, make voter's list available
to call center, take printout of the entire voter's
list and mail out vote-at-cards to every voter
in the city.
The Election Information System was developed
using OOD methodologies tools such as Java, Enterprise
Java Beans/J2EE, WebLogic and Rational Rose.
The Gaming Information System is a browser based
application that allows the system users to log
on to any PC within the city that has intranet
capability. The Gaming Information Product was
developed using full object oriented analysis
and design methodologies using NetDynamics application
server.
