The customer provides unprecedented security and authentication technologies that are usable from any network device. Its flagship product, 'Mobio' is three factor authentication that uses a person's biometric data to truly authenticate their identity. The customer helps organizations solve the problems associated with ongoing system authentication. They enable mobile digital identities to be used in many different situations where users, systems or processes interact.

The customer wanted to develop a robust and scalable Authentication Server that would support their Biometric Services based authentication over LDAP protocol. Wipro was approached to design and develop the Authentication Server.

	Implement proprietary protocol to download user certificates
	Come up with a proxy that can handle HTTP, SMTP, IMAP, POP3 protocols for secure email and web transactions
	Develop an OpenPGP toolkit
	Allow integration of Authentication Server with existing directories containing standard user profiles
	Develop an Administration Module for user management, Mobio management and proxy-rule management
	Develop an Enrollment Module for self registration of users, Mobio Initialization and Mobio Authentication
	Develop a module for enabling desktop authentication based on Mobio

Wipro catered to the customer’s needs by designing and developing an Authentication Server with the Digital Certificate Transfer Protocol (DCTP).

DCTP is a proprietary certificate management protocol to enable mobility of private digital certificates in a redundant and secure storage mechanism accessible only to an authenticated user of Mobio. It also addresses all risks and issues associated with private-key storage and issues that hinder the use of certificates in real-world applications.

Wipro developed the Authentication Server that is part of Mobio authentication and communication security for strong user authentication. It works in conjunction with the Mobio hardware and Mobio Verification Algorithm.
