The customer

The client is leading ISP in Portugal and wanted to launch a community portal for Women with the age group 18 to 40. Through this community portal, client wanted to provide specific contents of interest, chats, forums, web-mail to communicate and other functionality. Web Site should have support to dynamic and static content with articles, with text, animations, sounds. Portal should have a backoffice for content uploading and approval process.

The solution
The Wipro solution provided
End-customers with a one-stop, comprehensive and interactive experience.
End-customers with compelling content/information to assist in their daily lives, health assistance, and physical fitness.
Two access levels – Registered users and anonymous users. The registered users will be able to access all the services and information. Value added services like chat-room, forum, newsletters, alerts, SMS messages, Web-mail are only for registered users. The anonymous users can access only basic information.
Remote editing and reviewing of content.
Wipro was involved in the end-to-end execution of the project.

Full project was commenced onsite at the client’s premises in Portugal, starting from requirement analysis till the site went live. backoffice functionality was developed offshore.
