The client
A Global Fortune 500 company, the client is a leading financials services provide serving the financial needs of corporations, governments and municipalities, institutional clients, and high net worth individuals worldwide.
 
The business challenge
Client’s business processes were running on PeopleSoft Applications. With the growing business across geographies, client decided on rolling out PeopleSoft Expenses to its Europe and Japan regions. Though the fundamental functionalities didn’t change much in Expenses Applications, but geography specific customizations and a few workflows and interfaces were required to be done. The client was looking for a partner who could provide rollout services followed by business wide support at a lowered cost.
 
The solution
Wipro assumed complete ownership of client’s Expenses Applications. A snapshot of the partnership follows:
Rollout of PeopleSoft Expenses version 8.0 SP3 across Europe and Japan, and upgradation of PeopleSoft Tools
Ongoing SLA driven production support for PeopleSoft Expenses

Wipro offered its technical expertise in assisting client in PeopleSoft Expenses version 8.0 SP3 rollout while assessing existing customizations and recommend changes to customizations and interfaces to suit the global requirements. Wipro is currently providing a 24x5 production support encompassed application support, PeopleSoft administration support, pro-active batch process monitoring, and involved periodic tool upgrades and minor enhancements leveraging PeopleSoft help desk.
