PeopleSoft CoE has developed accelerators &
tools which help in speedup PeopleSoft upgrade
and implementation projects. An indicative list
is provided below:
SQR comparison tool:
Compares a set of SQR programs between two different
versions and identifies the customizations / changes
done to the programs. This process automates the
identification of changes and creates report in
the XL format to be used by the technical team
to accelerate the process of retrofitting
Automated test scripts:
PeopleSoft CoE had developed test scripts and
automated them using win runner for all the delivered
functionalities in the latest versions for financials
and HRMS modules. This content reduces testing
time during the upgrades by about 50% as the content
would need only minor changes during the test
preparation phase
Ready-to-use configuration
templates: CoE has developed ready to
use templates for As-Is, To-Be and Gap Fit phases
of the upgrade and implementation projects. Along
with these we also have templates for onsite –
offshore interaction and for tracking the customizations
during an upgrade.
