Wipro partnered
with Emerson Rosemount to define the processes
that would support a centralized procurement and
planning solution. Conducting in-depth interviews
and workshops with the business users across the
US and Asian geographies and analyzing historical
supplier trends and data, the team comprehended
Emerson’s supply chain challenges. An assessment
study for standardization of centralized procurement,
global planning and inter-location order fulfillment
was conducted with Wipro’s Discover, Define
and Plan framework. Industry inputs and best practices
were collated in this high level solution footprint.
