With the
global proliferation, client’s disparate
businesses units had their own legacy systems
and stand-alone processes. In the absence of a
unified sales and order plan, sales teams were
unable to quote definite delivery dates. Order
promising was tentative and was based on generic
lead times. Similar issues existed with forecasting,
procurement, capacity planning and budgeting.
Low scalability of legacy system was also an impediment
