We implemented i2's Factory Planner (FP)
to help the client overcome the limitations
in the existing system. The scope of the
project ranged from consultancy for the
new work order automation and materials
planning processes, to the FP implementation
and interface design. The current processes
were remodeled to take advantage of the
features of FP.

Following the implementation of the FP
system, the company has successfully reduced
the response time it took to provide a due
date quote from 6 hours to 1 hour. The order
management and order fulfillment processes
have also benefited from inventory optimization.
