Implementation, customization, enhancements and support of Ariba buyer for leading retailer in the US

The customer

The client is the No. 1 Consumer Electronics Speciality retailer with 400 stores across 40 states in US.

The challenge

The client wanted to consolidate spends on "operating resources" across the company through this implementation. They planned the implementation starting with a pilot of the Travel & Expense module at their Corporate headquarters, followed by procurement and integration with Oracle 11i, and rollout of this solution to other locations

The solution

Wipro's E-Procurement practice has been involved in the installation, configuration, development & enhancements, testing and the support phases of the project. The responsibilities cover several areas like installation, customization, UI configuration, customization to the user profiles, custom reports and integration with the ERP systems (Oracle 11i).
