delivering a solution as a part of the client’s
global e-procurement strategy for indirect materials.
This was designed to help manage the MRO buy initially
for its businesses in two of its major plants with subsequent

Harnessing the AribaLive methodology, the team formulated,
designed and implemented a solution using the Ariba
Buyer 7.0.6 based on three-tier J2EE architecture. The
integration solution delivered composed of TIBCO based
integration interface to Oracle 10.7 and 11.0.3, customization
of out-of-the-box TIBCO integration events to enable
pull of customizations of Oracle 10.7 and 11.0.3, and
receipt integration with Oracle 10.7 (not supported
by Ariba), among others.
Currently the Wipro team is engaged in providing SLA
driven applications support at near zero downtime for
the client’s operations. The support involves
support and maintenance of catalog filter and maintenance
of business rules based on dollar authority and commodities,
among others. The applications enhancements include
integration of Ariba with min-max systems and implementation
of requisition export to Data Mart among others. |
