Wipro teamed with the client in
upgradation and support of its entire Ariba implementation,
harnessing its global delivery model. Wipro’s
Ariba team has been involved right from the preliminary
phase to the go-live phase and beyond, providing ongoing
maintenance and support. Wipro was involved in customization
and technical rollout of Ariba Buyer 7.1a and 8.2 versions.

Wipro developed various point solutions to enhance
the capability/ performance of the Ariba implementation
including – implementation of catalog filter,
single sign-in using LDAP, inclusion of extrinsic fields
in punch-outs, etc. Further, the team implemented business
rules based on commodities and suppliers, PO printer
formatter, and implemented PO invoice enhancements.
Currently Wipro is offering support for the Ariba application
along with minor enhancement activities occasionally.
