The solution involved setting up a collaboration
and KM initiative from scratch with top management
involvement. People were connected to organization-wide
content with knowledge repositories for various
audiences, reusable component repositories and
Project Systems. People were connected to other
people through Special Interest Groups and Find-the-Expert
applications. Rewards and Recognition schemes
were initiated to increase people contributions.
KM effectiveness and engagement indices were also
set up to ensure sustenance of these organization-wide
initiatives.
