Abstract
Offshore outsourcing of IT infrastructure management
is likely to be the next big wave according to the results
of the global sourcing survey conducted by the Wipro
research team. According to this online survey covering
145 executives from various industries, more than 30%
of the respondents were planning to offshore their IT
infrastructure in the next 12 months and another 30%
were researching or evaluating the same.
The survey also found that offshore outsourcing was
increasing becoming a strategic initiative at global
organizations.
