Abstract
As content centric organisations expand their offerings
across locations and media vehicles, Intellectual Assets
and Rights Libraries associated with these offerings
are becoming increasingly complicated and cumbersome
to comprehend and manage. Embedded amidst this vast
heap are the phenomenal value and revenue potentials
that companies need to demystify to convert them into
profits. What is needed is a new perspective on value
creation from the assets and the associated Rights.
Value creation is more than what actually meets the
eye. We see it as a consequence of how firms create,
process, track and analyze Rights and Licenses associated
with their assets.
