Abstract
In the current day scenario of increasing competition
and variety of services being offered by the Network
Service Providers, they face many challenges managing
the quality, cost & performance. Various quality
parameters should be monitored for triple play services
(voice, video and data) by the management system to
manage the network load and to increase quality, customer
satisfaction and Average Revenue Per User (ARPU).
This paper outlines the prominent parameters to be considered
from the network management perspective to enhance the
performance of triple play services. It also tries to
bring out how some of these parameters can be fine tuned
to enhance the management system, which will result
in increased quality and reduced cost.
