IBM Midrange eServer, the AS/400 (also known as iSeries and System i5), is an integrated business system that allows businesses to run multiple operating environments like OS400 (i5OS), Windows and Linux, AIX simultaneously. It also facilitates LPAR's, which is dividing a single server into several completely independent virtual servers or logical partitions.
Wipro has been providing different services on AS/400 Infrastructure Maintenance and Application development to Fortune 500 companies by using the Onsite - Offshore model. Our relationships have grown at the rate of more than 50% annually.
Infrastructure services are both proactive and reactive; they are primarily delivered out of the Global Command Centre following the ITIL standards.
