1. HP CoE
This CoE is established to conduct proof of concepts for the customers and build best practices in testing using HP tools. It also provides access to the latest technologies, product versions, upgrades in testing and helps in conducting training & certification on the latest versions. It is also an incubation center for proposing and developing joint offerings.
2. IBM CoE
This CoE is established to conduct proof of concepts for the customers and build best practices in testing using IBM tools. It also provides access to the latest technologies, product versions, upgrades in testing and helps in conducting training & certification on the latest versions. It is also an incubation center for proposing and developing vertical specific joint offerings across all SWG and STG product brands. This CoE also showcases teaming model and multiple joint wins with IBM globally.
3. Validata CoE
About the CoE
This CoE is established to develop competency on Validata Tool, the First Model Driven Test Automation Tool for Functional Technical and Regression Testing, which is built for the Financial Sector. Validata delivers as an Automated Enterprise Wide Testing and Data Migration Solutions package. Validata is the technology partner to Temenos Group AG (Integrated Modular Core Banking System).

About the solution
FIX Examen™ solution is an end to end automated solution to test securities trading applications. It is based on FIX protocol and comprises of business scenario based test suites which are customizable to firm specific requirements.
What does the solution do?
FIX Examen™ solution adopts a unique test case generation methodology and contains test scenarios/ cases for pre-trade, trade and post-trade phases. FIX Examen™ helps to test trading applications in a faster manner by having ready built test suites which can be customized and executed on the trading applications. The test suites are optimized using statistical techniques. The solution accelerates the entire process of testing across various stages of design, development and execution of test cases as well as delivers optimal coverage thereby enabling quicker releases of applications under test, ensuring optimal coverage and quality.

About the solution
Examen™ for SWIFT is an end-to-end testing solution built around the SWIFT messaging standard. It comprises of business scenario based pre-built test suites across various categories of SWIFT messages for manual and/or automated test execution leading to productivity enhancements. These test suites are customizable according to firm specific requirements. The solution is enriched and enhanced for all contemporary upgrades and rules of S.W.I.F.T and the market ahead of time thereby giving an edge in the area of SWIFT testing.
What does the solution do?
Examen™ for SWIFT helps to applications that handle SWIFT messaging in a faster manner by having ready built test suites which can be customized and executed. These test suites are optimized using statistical techniques. The solution accelerates the entire process of testing across various stages of design, development and execution of test cases as well as delivers optimal coverage thereby enabling faster releases of the applications under test, ensuring optimal coverage and quality.
The solution also has the capability to maintain, customize and compare SWIFT messages as well as report the validity of these messages generated by the applications with respect to the standards set by S.W.I.F.T for SWIFT Fin Messages, MT to MX / MX to MT conversion and other SWIFT Solutions.

About the solution
Wip-CAFÉ is an enterprise wide test automation life cycle management solution that comprises of
- Integrated automation development environment with support for managing and creating automation test design, managing and reusing components/pieces of code, centralized and remote test execution as well as robust reporting capabilities
- Automation studio and work bench for test automation
- Built-in guidelines and best practices that guide the user across all phases of automation by virtue of having to use a single console for all activities.
What does the solution do?
Wip-CAFÉ has the ability to manage and enable enterprise wide test automation projects. Wip-CAFÉ ensures that the test automation process spans across all essential and critical phases. It is a GUI application that contains various modules addressing various phases of the automation lifecycle – like requirements, analysis, design etc. The solution has inbuilt best practice guidelines that help to create the automation design as well as integrate the various aspects of a test automation project. The solution helps to preserve and reuse pieces of code and components within a project as well as across projects – ensuring minimal re-work efforts. Wip CAFÉ reduces the dependency on an automation tool (for scripting) to a minimum and facilitates script creation on its GUI. Robust reporting capabilities as well as monitoring and improving the RoI of test automation projects are an integral feature of Wip-CAFÉ.

1. Telecom Lab
About the lab
The Wireless Testing lab provides Wireless Infrastructure and Mobile Handset Testing and Consultancy Services. A team of dedicated experts in mobile handset and network element testing creates test environments and develops ready-to use test solutions & test cases, minimizing customization. Automated testing is the key focus area of the Wireless Lab to enable faster test execution cycles and reduces risk associated with manual test execution.
The typical test areas covered by the solutions available in our lab are Functional / System, Regression, Stability & Performance, Field, Conformance, Interaction Scenarios, Test Automation, etc
What we do
The Lab aims at architecting, building and deploying wireless test solutions to handle different mobile handsets and applications like telephony, messaging, multimedia, WAP, data storage, PIM, java, calculator, alarm etc. Some of those test solutions that we have developed in-house are listed below.
- Performance Testing of Mobile Networks & Open Platform handsets like Symbian S60 / UIQ, Windows Mobile, etc
- Mobile Test Automation with Open platform handsets like Symbian, Windows Mobile, etc
- Mobile Platform validation solution for Open platforms like Symbian S60, ANDROID, etc.
- Functional Testing of J2ME based application in the mobile handsets
- Automation testing of mobile handsets using AT Commands
- Application Test Servers ( like SyncML DS, SyncML DM, DRM, IMPS, etc. ) development using the open standard, OMA
We also create the necessary lab Environment set-up to test 2, 2.5 & 3G mobile and network applications and protocols for: GSM CSD, GPRS, CDMA, UMTS, CDMA2000, etc.

2. 3G lab
About the lab
Innovation has led to the formation of 3G Labs-on-Hire, a concept which provides an end-to-end Wireless Network Infrastructure as a virtual extension to customer labs, that support product integration / inter-operability testing and applications testing for both networks and handsets.
What we do
Wipro's 3G Lab-on-Hire is ideal for transitioning products through proof-of-concept and prototype development for Network Equipment Manufacturers, Handset Designers, OEMs, Application Server Vendors and 3G Service Providers.
Wipro brings together different wireless networks, handsets and service providers under a single eco-system as an external R&D partner for vendors, operators and integrators.
3. PTG Lab
About the lab
This lab is equipped with infrastructure to cater to the platforms, storage, software products and embedded customers. This lab also hosts the virtualization, performance and automation capabilities and expertise.
What we do
This lab focuses on competency development and efficiency augmentation to create new service offerings. Some of the projects include Wipro’s Test Automation Service Framework, Wipro’s Performance Assessment Framework, Wipro’s Business Solutioneering Framework and Wipro’s “Virtualization in Testing” theme

What we do
Wipro’s Performance Assurance Lab-on-Hire eliminates dependency on contractors, tools licenses, processes and methodologies. The Lab-on-Hire provides an experienced resource pool with expertise on a variety of tools and right skills over phases of the performance cycle resulting in comprehensive coverage, with value adds like modeling and monitoring.
ii. POS Testing
About the solution
Wipro POS testing solution is a joint offering from Wipro and HP to address the POS testing challenges as well as help customers improve the quality of testing POS applications.
What does the solution do?
Wipro POS testing solution comprises of a number reusable business process components which have been extracted from the requirements based on ARTS™ (Association of Retail Technology Standards. Wipro is a member of ARTS™). These reusable business process components can be used to form thousands of test scenarios depending on the target application. This process accelerates the design of new test cases and facilitates the re-use of existing ones.

i. Wi-Fi
About the lab
Wi-Fi Alliance Authorized Test Laboratory at Wipro offers WPA2, WMM and WMM-PS Pre-Certification and Certification testing for WLAN standard devices like Access points and STA cards as well as Application Specific Devices like Wi-Fi Phones, PDAs, Wireless Printers etc . Wipro is the only lab that can provide Wi-Fi Pre-Certification and Certification and Engineering services to its customers.
What we do:
The Wi-Fi Alliance approach to certification is based on principles that help ensure interoperability, backward compatibility and innovation. The Wi-Fi Interoperability Certificate is important for vendor equipment, service providers and users worldwide, and is becoming increasingly crucial for them to succeed in the Wi-Fi market.
We provide Pre-Certification and Certification testing for the WLAN vendors seeking the Wi-Fi Certification Logo.
ii. Microsoft Certification Lab
About the lab:
The Microsoft Certification Lab consists of 32 bit machines, 64 bit machines and an 8 core machine with a SCSCI hard disk exclusively used for clustering setup and the Microsoft logo certification of Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. It includes the all infra structure required for certifying Japanese applications as well.
What we do:
We will do Pre-certification and certification logo testing both for VISTA and Server 2008.We execute set of applicable test cases on various applications given by the ISV’s (Independent Software Vendor) for Microsoft Logo Certification. These set of test cases are executed on 32 bit machine with an x86 version of OS and on 64 bit machines with an x64 version of OS. For applicable scenarios we set up client-server architecture, configure exchange servers, web servers, connect to database servers, provide the prerequisites etc for applications and ensure that all the applications that are certified adhere to the standards laid down by Microsoft.
The customer can be assured that their application that is being tested undergoes all the logo specification requirements and it is thoroughly tested in stipulated time.
