Wi-Fi Pre-Certification & Certification Lab and WLAN Compliance Testing Services

Wi-Fi Alliance Certification has been a key driver for the worldwide adoption of Wi-Fi. Devices that have been Wi-Fi Certified have been tested for interoperability to improve user experience. A Wi-Fi Certified product is assured to work seamlessly with other Wi-Fi Certified products.

Wipro is an Authorized Test Laboratory (ATL) for the Wi-Fi Certification program. Wipro’s Wi-Fi Alliance Authorized Test Laboratory offers both Pre-Certification and Certification programs for WPA2, WMM, WMM-PS, ASD and TGn test plans.

Wipro also offers WLAN compliance testing for validating protocol standard extensions of 802.11 – 802.11a/b/g/j/h, 802.11i and 802.11e. Wipro takes a granular approach to increase the coverage of testing, for efficient detection of bugs and debugging.

Protocol Conformance Testing
Validates the adherence of WLAN MAC to 802.11 standards - 802.11a/b/g/h/j/i/e. This includes verifying features like RTS/ CTS, fragmentation, power save, WEP functionality, TKIP, CCMP, EDCA mechanism.

Performance Testing
The performance of APUT and STAUT is measured in terms of performance criterion like throughput, under different configuration settings of APUT/STAUT and channel conditions.

Interoperability Testing
Interoperability testing of APUT and STAUT is carried out as per the Wi-Fi test plans: WPA2, WMM,
WMM-PS and 802.11n draft test plan.
