Wipro is one of the early members of EPCglobal which is leading the development of industry-driven standards for the Electronic Product Code™ (EPC) to support the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) in today’s fast-moving, information rich, trading networks. The Goal of EPCglobal is increased visibility and efficiency throughout the supply chain and higher quality information flow between companies and their key trading partners. Wipro is an active member of the BAG (Business Action Group), UAG (Users Action Group), HAG (Hardware Action Group) of EPCglobal and contributes significantly by participating in the standard setting process and by attending EPCglobal conferences.
