IMS Experience Lab
With market saturation set, the need to increase ARPU and staying competitive is getting compelling. Network operators need to deploy innovative managed services based on standards from 3GPP (IMS), 3GPP2 (MMD) and ETSI (TISPAN). Wipro’s IMS experience lab aims at addressing this need for the industry.

Wipro IMS lab uses an in-house developed service delivery platform with service migration and orchestration plug-ins. The lab currently is equipped with third party network elements from leading vendors.

With the teams focus being video delivery, the lab demonstrates proof-of-concept applications for video-on-demand and broadcast TV. Planned next on the agenda are iTV and videoconferencing.
