Re-usable Components & Solutions
Our customers derive great advantages from our re-usable components and solutions that help reduce development time and speed up the time to market. Wipro has invested in developing in-house competencies and expertise in areas of codecs, standards and components that could be easily integrated to design state of the art digital consumer electronics products with high end features and superior quality.
These reusable components help Wipro's customers to have shorter design cycles and got to market faster vis-à-vis competition. Reuse of components and tools also serve to drive down procurement and design cost for the customers.
The frequently used re-usable components developed by Wipro are:
- Audio / video codecs (MPEG 2 / 4 / MP3 encoders and decoders, H.264 decoder)
- ATSC standards based FTA including PSIP, closed caption, tele-text and EPG
- DVB standards based FTA including DVB-SI, DVB-CI, closed caption and tele-text
- ARIB standards modules
- CAS modules including Irdeto, Canal plus, Nagarvision
- Digital camera modules including white balance, auto focus and video motion detection modules
- IEEE 1394 stack with drivers
- SIP stack
- Residential home gateway
- Wireless LAN IP's 802.11 MAC, 802.11a baseband, 802.11b baseband and baseband lite
- USB-1.1 host & devices, USB 2.0 device, OTG and 2.0 host IPs
- Bluetooth IPs-software and hardware baseband controller and bluetooth software stack
