XML-Based Device Management
Wipro XML-based device management solution is a productized service from Wipro which enables equipment venders to rapidly build XML interface into their devices thus increasing the usability and management of their devices and resulting in lowered OPEX for end-users.

The solution demonstrates reusable toolkits and processes that Wipro provides for rapidly developing embedded netconfig agent for Network Elements (NEs). The solution can be easily integrated into the customer’s NEs, providing cost advantages and saving time.

Wipro provides XML proxy gateway which has southbound interfaces as SNMP, CLI, TL1 and CMIP to communicate with the devices. This can be used to upgrade legacy EMS / NMS systems to the uniform northbound XML interface. Wipro is the first company to offer a fully functional vendor neutral netconfig agent development framework based on IETF netconfig protocol version 03.
