Wipro RPR solution is compliant to IEEE 802.17 standard. Datapath functionalities are designed for network processor dataplane architecture and control plane features are implemented in WindRiver VxWorks. The solution supports two counter rotating rings and can support up to 255 nodes. The control plane solution is designed to be portable to different platforms and ensures time-to-market advantage.

    • Dual queue transit (primary and secondary queues)

  • MAC Services / Datapath
    • Relaxed frame transmission service (Strict not supported currently)
    • Ringlet selection
    • Class A, B shaper, fairness eligible shaper and downstream shapers
