Tarang - Product Qualification and Compliance Lab is a ‘one-of-its-kind’ laboratory by Wipro. The world class test facility strategically located in Wipro’s Headquarters in Bangalore is equipped to perform various mechanical, thermal, acoustic, reliability and electro-magnetic interference / compatibility related testing and consultancy services. Taking a product from concept to volume manufacturing has always experienced bottlenecks in product compliance and acceptance across the globe. This NABL (ISO/IEC 17025) accredited facility addresses this challenge and enables Wipro to deliver end-to-end product design services that allow customers to reap benefits of enhanced quality, reduced time to market and cost.
The lab is equipped with world class equipment to test electronic products in the Computing and Storage, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Automotive Electronics, Consumer Electronics, Medical Electronics and Industrial automation industries. The three main services offered are,

- 10m EMC chamber with dual antenna masts and more accurate NSA of ±3 db, Hemi-Anechoic chamber with 16 dBA ambient for acoustic tests, HALT/HASS facility with ramp rate of 60 degree C/minute, 888 CFT walk-in thermal chamber, dedicated ESD controlled debug lab.
- The lab offers different models for lab usage allowing for flexibility through usage duration and slot availability.
- High precision lab maintenance and systematic documentation and record maintenance are also provided.

Tarang, a NABL certified lab, is equipped to perform tests and certification on a broad range of product standards, such as, IEC/EN, DO160, UL, FCC, CSA, SAE, JASO, ISO, MIL, ASTM, NEBS, etc which are accepted globally.
Consultancy
- With multiple years of experience in Electronic product design, Wipro leverages its vast domain expertise in enabling Tarang to provide cost effective solutions for compliance
- Some of the areas where consultancy is provided include, Design for EMC, Acoustic control plans and Sound quality analysis, Guidelines for vibration design, Design of thermal hardware using simulation, Reliability prediction and modeling, Component selection and analysis for product safety standards.
- Consultancy services include reviews at any stage of product development cycle, non-compliance and remedial cases
