Welcome to the world of rapid GUI prototyping with the PC based embedded GUI toolkit – eGUI. Wipro offers this tool along with its Digital TV middleware solutions. The tool has been extensively used in most of the digital TV and set top box products developed by Wipro and our customers.

The GUI toolkit will serve as a user friendly PC based software development tool that will allow visually designing GUI for embedded devices. The Toolkit will allow the user to create GUI screens using drag and drop and instant prototyping thus simplifying the entire process of Embedded GUI creation. This will also enable the designer to customize the GUI, save cost, effort and time by shortening the development cycle. The learning curve for the user is also going to be minimal. The tool offers the following key benefits,

• Allow visually designing the GUI screens using drag and drop. This will enable the user to develop and modify the screens easily.

CI+ Specification is developed by CI+ Forum to provide secure delivery of services to digital TV receivers. It strengthens the original CI specification and it supports a secure link for copy protection of transport stream packets between a Conditional Access Module (CAM) and the Host. It includes CI+ Browser which enables CA module application to present text and graphics information with the look and feel specified by the service operator. CI+ Trust Authority is being formed by CI+ Forum. This Trust authority enables market deployments of CI+ and maintains the integrity CI+ implementations in the field on an ongoing basis.
