| Vectren Source was looking to capitalize the deregulated evironment by developing capabilities for rapid market penetration with new products and services to achieve a market differentiation and provide better service to their customers. |

| The solution |
| The Customer Information System (CIS) and the Billing System of the third party product used by Vectren Source was integrated with customized proprietary components to establish a robust and cost effective Customer Management Process. Wipro developed custom interfaces with trade partners (Local Distribution Companies) for gas markets, third party acquisitions, billing and remittances and other products and services. Generic interfaces that can be expanded to service any new ancillary products provided by external vendors eg. Insurance companies were designed and implemented. Parallel to building interfaces and providing production support for CIS, Wipro assisted Vectren Source in architecting and implementing a Decision Support System in the areas of marketing, finance, commodity operations and customer operations. |
