| The business challenge |
OSH had one existing office located in Shanghai. OCM wanted to open 3 new main sales and distribution offices at Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou to address the growing Chinese market. The operating opening time of OCM was decided. The accounting system, which is one of the key systems for OCM, needed to be built in four months. The solution needed to go live simultaneously across multiple locations and businesses in an aggressive time schedule. The time line was critical since three of the four companies would commence business operations on the Go Live date. |

| The solution |
Wipro team worked in the Team SAP mode with OCM and OCH, to build a robust and integrated business solution, which would support their business needs. Almost all business processes were analyzed, and re-engineered. Since 3 out of 4 companies were yet to start operations, our design included conceptualization of future business process and systems. The SAP modules for financial accounting and management reporting were successfully deployed for the re-engineered business processes.
The success of the project was dependent on perfect planning, execution, daily monitoring and timely corrective action. Our Project Management team comprised bilingual PMs, and PMs with region specific expertise. |
