Michael F. Corbett is Chairman of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). Mr. Corbett has built his professional career around the belief that for organizations to capture markets and increase shareholder value they must achieve best-in-world excellence born of specialization, strategically leveraged outside relationships, and constant innovation.
Mr. Corbett is best known for his pioneering work on the topic of outsourcing. For more than a decade, he has trained thousands of executives on the topic as well as authoring, since 1994, annual management briefs appearing in Fortune® Magazine. He is also the author of The Outsourcing Revolution: Why It Makes Sense and How to Do It Right, (Dearborn Trade Publishing, September 2004) which has been called by Oren Harari the “definitive guide to outsourcing.” |

Angel Dobardziev

Angel Dobardziev is the IT Services Practice Leader, managing Ovum's advisory business in the IT services area. In this role Angel leads Ovum's research on IT services market trends, vendor strategies and user priorities, delivered as both reports and tailored client engagements. Angel's research focus spans across the infrastructure services, applications services and BPO topics. Angel is one of the leading analysts in the area of innovation and its role in IT services, where he has done several client- and vendor-focused studies, and delivered numerous client workshops and presentations.
Angel has been in the ICT industry for ten years in various roles with Ovum. Prior to his current role, Angel held a senior analyst role within Ovum's telecoms advisory business, where he led Ovum's research into telecoms service vendor strategies. Angel is a frequent speaker to senior audiences, both Ovum's clients and at industry conferences and events, and he is regularly quoted in key financial, industry and online media. Angel has a Batchelor's degree in Law and an MBA from the University of Westminster. |

Jeff Lande

Information Technology Association of America (ITAA)
Jeff serves as the Senior Vice President of the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA). He heads ITAA’s Commercial Division, which includes both domestic and global ICT firms. Jeff leads ITAA’s activities before government officials as well as the analyst, press and private sector client communities. He also is responsible for the association’s strategic partnerships.
Jeff received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Virginia, respectively. He serves on the Board of the Friends of the National Zoo and is active with several other national charities and nonprofit organizations.
ITAA is the United States’ oldest and largest information technology specific trade association in the country. ITAA's members account for over 90% of all the IT goods and services in the U.S. The Association represents the IT industry’s interests before US and foreign government officials and works very closely with members of the financial, press and analyst communities as well as CIOs of many public and commercial sector entities. Furthermore, ITAA enjoys a close relationship with the Council of Regional Information Technology Associations (CRITA), a consortium of IT associations representing 38 states. ITAA also serves as the Secretariat of the World Information Technology and Services Alliance, a global consortium including leading IT organizations from 67 nations. |

Laxman K Badiga

Laxman K. Badiga is a graduate from IIT Kanpur in computers and has 27 years of experience in the IT field. Starting with programming he has handled multiple roles of analyst, project management, product development, and Offshore software services. He was one of the key managers responsible for ensuring success of the Offshore services from India. He was the project manager of the team which made the first offshore based product development to succeed in the 80's and also introducing the concept of packaged software usage in India.
Badiga's activities have driven large areas of customer systems to be driven remotely by defining the right process and controls. He has managed 3,000+ services team to deliver solutions to multiple customers across the globe. He has also been involved in the HR areas of the organization where he was responsible for the recruitment of close to 20,000 people in the last three years. He was a representative on the board of association of software companies in India and participated in its various programs.
Badiga is currently responsible for a 100 mn + IT infrastructure and has the challenge of meeting the needs of a business which grows at a 30% annual rate. |
