Suresh Vaswani Joint CEO & Member of the Board Wipro Technologies

Suresh Vaswani is Joint Chief Executive Officer of Wipro’s IT Business, alongside Girish Paranjpe and is an Executive Director in the Board of Wipro Limited. He jointly carries the overall responsibility for the strategy and operations of Wipro’s IT Business.

Suresh’s direct responsibilities include the following businesses - Enterprise Solutions; Global IT Service Lines which include Package Implementation Services, Technology Infrastructure Services, Testing Services and ES-Enabling; Wipro BPO and Wipro Infotech. Suresh is also directly responsible for Sales, Marketing, Quality and Strategic Alliances across the IT Business.

Suresh joined Wipro in 1985 from management campus, and has held a broad range of leadership positions in critical portfolios across the Wipro Corporation. Prior to this role Suresh was President - Global IT Service Lines, Wipro Technologies and President - Wipro Infotech. Global IT Service Lines have been strong differentiators and growth engine for Wipro. Wipro Infotech, the IT business of Wipro focused on India and Middle East, has leadership position in India. It has established a strong platform for growth in the emerging markets.

Suresh was rated among the top 25 Young Business Executives in India by Business Today, a leading business magazine in India. Suresh is the Executive Representative of Wipro in India’s National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM.) and has been a member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) & Manufacturers Association for Information Technology (MAIT).

Suresh is an engineering graduate from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, and a management graduate from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
